earlier i went to the bathroom and when i was walking back i saw my boss just staring at his screen. so i stopped by to talk to him about work and suddenly i’ve wasted 30 minutes comparing dune to foundation and the differences the writers had stylistically. it’s funny that both of us got kinda teary eyed at certain parts of both stories and how we remembered certain scenes as if they were movies. then somehow the conversation shifted to bearded writers and dealing with fame.
idk what my point is right now, i really don’t. read foundation and dune. it’s great. then we can be nerds and discuss details of the epic storylines.
also i love my job.
